Bucks County Soap Box Derby Super Kids Classic
The Bucks County Super Kids Classic is a soap box derby race for special needs children between the ages of 7 to 18 years old.

Celebrations! at Ohev Shalom of Bucks County
Celebrations! is a family education program for children with special needs and their families. This free program is available to the greater Jewish community, regardless of affiliation. Offered for school aged children, 5-18 years old, this Shabbat program will be held once a month, from November through April.
Each month’s session will run from 10:30-12 p.m. and will feature an adapted Shabbat service, two sessions of Jewish themed sensory-based activities, and a parent discussion group. Music, movement, art, blessings, and food will be part of each session, led by a Rabbi with special education training and a special education teacher,
with the assistance of trained and experienced volunteers.

Family Night for Children with Autism
Third Monday of every month they offer an open special bouncing session for children with Autism and their families from 6:10 to 8:30pm (Langhorne location) and 6:10 to 8:00pm (Horsham location).

This program provides an opportunity for individuals with mental and physical disabilities to enjoy softball with the help of a "buddy" when at bat and in the field and also to protect them from injury.

Special Needs Exclusive Nights at Sahara Sam's Indoor Water Park

Sponsored by the Southampton Soccer Association, this program is for individuals ages 6 and up with both physical and mental disabilities.  There are three levels of play based on the child's abilities to give the children of lesser abilities an opportunity to compete without feeling intimidated.

Early Intervention Services for children birth to 3 years of age are offered through the Bucks County Department of Mental Health/Developmental Programs.  If you have concerns about your infant or toddler's development, contact an Early Intervention Service Coordinator at the Base Service Unit in your area (see below).  The Service Coordinator will assist you in determining whether your child is eligible for Early Intervention Services.

Friendship Circle Community Preschool

Potential, Inc
A non-profit organization whose goal is to provide the highest quality interventions for individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities.  They utilize current research in ABA which includes an analysis of Verbal Behavior to improve communication, behavior, toileting, social skills and more.

Progressions offers wraparound behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents in their own home, schools and communities throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. Services are child focused and individualized to the child and family needs. They help children and families struggling with various mood, thought and behavioral disorders. In addition, Progressions also provides child and adult outpatient therapy.  Progressions accepts Medical Assistance and is currently taking referrals for new clients. Progressions has offices in Philadelphia, Trevose, Allentown, Pottstown and Reading.
